Bill of Material (BOM)

BOMs are used when several smaller items are used to manufacture a larger item.

ECN Tab

Date

Date of the ECN

New version

The new version number of the BOM after accepting the ECN

Indication of whether the ECN has been approved


Attachment Tab

We can attach any documents about the BOM such as design drawing.

Creating a BOM

  1. Main Menu > Production > Bill of Material;

  2. Click Add New;

  3. Type BOM name;

  4. Click Continue;

  5. Fill in information;

  6. If a Sub BOM exists select it here. To create a Sub BOM repeat steps 1-5 and select the BOM created (Optional);



  1. Select items then click Add ;

  2. Once all items are added click Update ;



  1. Click Approve to make the BOM ;



  1. Main Menu > Items > Items;



  1. Select exiting or create new item you wish to associate with the BOM;



  1. Click Edit if existing item;

  2. Click Production Tab;

  3. Select and fill in information regarding the BOM;



  1. Click Update;

  2. Done.
