Exchange Rate

Exchange rate are used to calculate the value of foreign currencies.

Popular MOSES supports doing transactions in multi-currencies. If you need to do transactions in currency other than your functional currency (usually your local currency), you need to define exchange rate for exchanging amounts between the foreign currency and the functional currency.

A. Viewing Today Rate

1. Main Menu > Accounting > General Ledger > Exchange Rate;
   
   
2. Select Currencies;
   
   
3. Click Show today's rate;
   
4. Done.

B. Adding Exchange Rate

1. Main Menu > Accounting > General Ledger > Exchange Rate;
   
   
2. Fill in exchange rate desired;
   
   
3. Click Add Exchange Rate;
   * The upper row stands for 1 HKD = ? USD; lower row stands for 1 USD = ? HKD
   
4. Done.

* Remark: Any change of Exchange Rate will be cached for 1 hour
