Why Edit button disappeared in Sales Order and Invoice ?

In some cases, you need to edit Sales Order or Invoice. However, the Edit button disappeared, what should you do? Actually, it is probably due to Accounting settings.

1. Check whether Accounting Period closed for that period in Main Menu > Accounting > General Ledger > Accounting Period.

2. Re-open the accounting period: Select the closed period for editing > Open > Change period status to .

3. Edit button appeared.
